Back Bumpers

After looking at other people's life studies, I got the itch to do the same. Unfortunately, no model to refer to (which explains a lot of things out of place). But hey... I can dream, right?

Yes, buns make my world go round. No pun intended.

White Gel Pen + Boredom + Husband within reach =

I once mused that it'd be cool if we could tattoo our wedding rings on. Yes, he's a very patient man. Thanks, Joe <3

Stop

Sometimes, I just feel like I want to put down whatever drawing utensils I have - I feel like I'm not pushing myself enough to get anywhere; Then again, I have not much drive to do so. But somehow, I can't stop...

It is my drug and cigarette.

Cranky Cat

Panthera Leo: If the males are human, they would probably spend 3/4 of their day either sleeping or in front of the TV while demanding their women to bring them beer and dinner.

Can Haz?

What? It's almost June??! Noooooooooooooooooo!!! Oh well. A little thing to look forward to:

Huminodun

An old sketch from my final year project back in 2005, entitled Huminodun. The story is based on Sabahan folklore (pagan belief, actually); She is the daughter of The Creator (Kinoringan) who sacrificed herself to save humankind from starvation. Her final wish was to have her body parts strewn all across the land, and from it edible plants will grow. From her blood, rise the paddy. Thus is why we Sabahans celebrate harvest festival. I will post up my final animation once I have found it next time.

Till then,
Kotobian Tadau Tagazo Do Kaamatan!
Kieeeheii!!!

I am lame!!

Poor planning and random limb placement quite often leads to horrendous and confusing... thingamabobimajig. I really should practice and do more life study.

I am settling for this to best represent Kusut Masai.

I don't know...

Burn

Even if you could set the world on fire, it will keep on spinning.

I never had any fine arts training, so please excuse the horrible colours and anatomy. Painted in Paint Tool Sai.

I love distracting my cats while they are busy grooming themselves.

Attack of horrid doodles! I'm trying my hardest to combat depression currently, and it seems that I am failing... And I would appreciate it if no one asks me about it, please.

I Feel So Alive!

Chew

I want to do at least a doodle a day. Let's see how long this will last.

Spade

Yep... I should leave coloring to the pros. Wish he did wear pink in the movie though.

Chompers

A closer look at the guppy's head. Like sharks, their teeth would protrude outwards when they pull their lips back.

Painted in Paint Tool SAI, corrected in Photoshop.

Bub

30 mins (including correction)! As much as I'd like to draw Hugh Jackman's whoop-some buns streak across my blog, I decided to leave it to the professionals. Also, shoddy colouring proves why I can never be a good concept artist.

Done in Paint Tool SAI, corrected in Photoshop.

Kasturi

For those who don't know, 'kasturi' means lime.

After days (or weeks?) of putting it off, I've finally purchased the official license for Paint Tool Sai! Yay! Hopefully this will encourage me to utilize it more after being deprived of it.

Anyway, here is another character for The Fisherman's Son project. Her design is based on traditional Malay, and she is quite adept with the art of Silat Gayung. Naturally disciplined, she is also terribly a no-nonsense humourless warrior. However, she still enjoys feminine pleasures like painting her fingertips with henna and she absolutely enjoys long baths.

I don't care if it's made for guys

I was supposed to post this up earlier last week, but I had other duties to attend to. Anyway, some sweet purchase off ebay: a limited edition Boba Fett Hoodie tailored by Marc Ecko (until someone will try to pirate this in Petaling Street, but it can never be as swell as the original!)

Kitty face not included.

Loving the helmet details <3

There is also a Storm Trooper hoodie to go with this, but I'm not that fond of white fabrics since I can't really keep my sleeves clean at all times. My husband, who is an absolute Star Wars fan, was going bonkers (I bought it for myself). But hey, I did offer to get him the white Princess Leia outfit.
