Piper...?

I was trying out a different approach on how to colour things digitally (by slapping colours on a different layer and changing its attribute to 'color' in Photoshop). I rarely ever do it in fear of it looking unnatural, but with some touch-ups and critiques, it works anyway.

So... by experimenting on the sketch I did way early this morning, I made a fan art! This might be my (adult, skankified) version of Piper of the Storm Hawks. Sorry Asaph Fipke... T_T

STORK

I'm recently addicted to a kid's series, Storm Hawks, despite it being too convenient (then again, which under-12 kiddie show would allow characters to spill blood and get hurt too badly). To be honest, I am in love with the pilot of their ship - he has proven himself competent and reliable although he's a ridiculously depressing paranoid hypochondriac. Plus, I absolutely love his pessimistic/sarcastic one-liners.

This is my quick rendition of our favourite Merb, Stork... when some years have bulked and hardened him, that is.
